I've been reading my RSS feeds via my email client for years (I recently remembered that I wrote a blog post about this option almost a decade ago) and I find it has lots of advantages: I operate FeedMail which is an RSS-to-Email service. There is not archive for old articles and based on the developer this may cost $20/month UI seems outdated but I can live with it No features will be added in the near future as the developer suggested I don’t like the Web UI, but it can be connected to some apps/readers The Developer admitted that he is in supporting mode and that he is on the way to get relocated to Germany, but until then, not sure if I can relay on the service.

The developer is in Rusia and I’m worried that the current situation escalates and that the service is ceased. Here are some of the things I have discovered about each of the services: I know many here lean to Inoreader, and I will be willing to pay but not without thinking twice. I would love to hear your pro/cons or experience. Looking at some alternative options I came across NewsBlur, Feedbin and Bazqux, but some trials are way too short and others haven’t convinced me in any way or the other. I’m not a cheap bastard, I actually pay for many things that are free to support the devs, but many of Inoreader features are only available in the $9.99/$120 plan. I like Inoreader but I can’t justify $90-120. I have been using multiple services through the years but I’m not sure about which one to renew/go premium this year.
